Frequently Asked Questions

If you need help with "Desktop Ad" Wizard, you're in the right place

  • What can I make with the Desktop Ad Wizard?

You can use this software to create the ads and building blocks for ads to use in Your Blog, Classified Ads (Print or Online), Your Emails, Paid Email Newsletters, Sponsor Ads, Graphical Ads, Facebook Ads, Social Media Ads, Ads in Special Reports, Ads in Your Ebooks, Banner Ads, Solo Ads, Media Buy Ads, Product Delivery Pages, and more!

  • What is the difference between the Word (DOCX) files, HTML files, TEXT files, and the PowerPoint (PPTX) files?

The Word, HTML, and TEXT files contain the text for ads, along with the building blocks to create an almost unlimited number of custom ads. The PPTX files allow you to create image ads by saving the slides (which I’ve made in the standard sizes of 125 x 125, 250 x 250, 300 x 250).

  • Why would I use a text version of any of the documents?

You can use the text version for a variety of purposes, but the biggest reason is because it is super easy to copy and paste from a text file to assemble your own ads.

  • Why would I use a PPTX version?

You can use the PowerPoint / PPTX version to save the slides as graphics (jpg, png, etc.) you can use as image ads on your blog, other websites, etc.

  • Why would I use a DOCX version?

You can use DOCX version for a variety of reasons, including the fact that you might just like editing in Word or Keynote more than in your text editor.

  • What if I don't have PowerPoint or Microsoft Word, can I still use the PPTX slides and DOCX files?

You can definitely use, edit, and change the PPTX slide files in: – Google Docs(FREE) – Open Office (FREE) – Keynote and Pages (MAC) – And any other program that uses the PPTX  and DOCS file formats (pretty universal)

  • Do you include graphics or styles to go with the PowerPoint versions?

We do not included graphics at this time because our software is about making the ad copy FOR you. You can then make them even more personalized by adding your own graphics, logos, pictures, and unique look and feel.

  • How much editing do I need to do on a file to get it ready from prime time?

If you take your time going through the software and answering the questions thoughtfully, you should be able to do one or two edit passes on what the Wizard gives you and be good to go. With that said, as you use the Wizard more and more, the amount of editing you’ll need to do on the end ads and ad building blocks should drop considerably.

  • What are the computer requirements?

Our software will work on the following:

-PCs with an operating system of Windows 7 and newer
-Macs with an operating system 10.8 and newer

  • Can I install it on both my desktop and lap top without purchasing twice?

If you want to install it on more than one computer, you need to contact us in our help desk and we’ll set it so you can install on a second computer.

  • How will we be notified of updates to the software?

We send out emails any time we update the software… so no worries, if we update the software, you’ll know!

  • How does this work for authors?

You can use the Desktop Ad Wizard to make cool, attention-getting ads that drive the right readers to your book’s sales page.

  • Can this be used with the lead page software?

YES! You can take the building blocks the software makes and use those to create the sales copy for Lead Pages, Click Funnels and more.

  • What are your thoughts on using Ad Wizard to make print classified ads?

This is a GREAT idea and will definitely work. You’ll just want to make sure you use the shorter building blocks since a print classified ad is usually much shorter.

  • Can we insert our own image instead of that line-drawing guy in the image ad output?

YES! The stickman is just a placeholder. I encourage you to use your own images.

  • Does the license ever expire?*

No! You pay once and use the software as long as you like 🙂

*Exception: If you have a subscription to TJEM Premium that you cancel, your license to use the software will expire.

  • Would this work for PPC on google?

Yes, but again, make sure you use the shorter building blocks since you’re limited in how long your ad can be.
