Weekly Update – January 1, 2020

A Note from Jim

You Won’t Reach A Single Goal This Year If You Don’t Do This

If you seriously want to reach your goals this year, then this goal achievement tip holds the keys you need to succeed if you want to avoid working 18 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The point of this tip is: if you set goals like everyone else, you won’t reach a single one this year!

The big idea is that goals are not outcomes… goals are actions.

Fact: you should make taking specific actions your “goals,” not the outcomes they lead to.

This is key for everyone because the only things you can control are what you THINK and what you DO!

No matter how much you might like to, you can’t control…

  • Other people
  • External circumstances
  • The weather
  • The economy

You only control your thoughts and actions… that’s it!

The next step here is to first write down the outcomes you want to produce this year physically, financially, spiritually, etc.

Then write down all the actions (goals) you’ll take on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to make those outcomes reality.

Yep, it’s that simple.

So go do it… and then go do it!

Happy New Year!  🙂

Jim
